About InTOSPAN2014
Spanish, and the languages that coexist with Spanish, present exciting opportunities for research in prosody. The languages in contact with Spanish may be typologically similar to Spanish from a prosodic standpoint (other intonation languages) but may also be radically different (languages with lexical tone). It is the goal of this Symposium to bring together researchers working on diverse aspects of prosody not only in Spanish, but in other languages used by speech communities of the Spanish-speaking world. We hope to provide a forum for these researchers to share their ideas, methods and findings.
